? What is Sidetone?

Sidetone lets you hear your own voice during a call. This helps you monitor your speaking volume and reduce the tendency to talk too loudly.

✅ Steps to Enable Sidetone:

1. Open Jabra Direct

Launch the Jabra Direct software on your computer.

Make sure your Jabra headset is connected via USB.

2. Go to Device Settings

On the left menu, select your headset (Jabra Evolve2 40 SE).

Click on "Device settings".

3. Select the "HEADSET" Tab

At the top of the settings window, click on the HEADSET tab if it’s not already selected.

4. Find the “Sidetone” Option

Look for the Sidetone section.

This allows you to enable/disable hearing your own voice during calls.

5. Toggle Sidetone ON

Click the toggle switch next to Sidetone to turn it ON (yellow switch, as shown in the image).

6. Set the Sidetone Level (Optional)

Below the toggle, there is a Sidetone level dropdown.

Choose your preferred level (e.g., Default level, Low, High, etc.).

7. Save Your Settings

Click the yellow "Save" button at the top right to apply changes.

You may need to unplug and replug the headset for the settings to take effect.

? Tips:

Start with Default sidetone level and adjust if needed.

If you're in a noisy environment, a higher sidetone level might help you modulate your voice better.

You can return to this menu anytime to disable or tweak sidetone.
